Control Centre is an independent fan project that turns public sports data into recap videos and an interactive companion website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, the FIA, the NBA, MLB, the NHL, the Premier League, the NFL, any team, league, driver, or player. Team names, colours, and statistics are used factually to describe real sporting events, not to imply any endorsement of Control Centre by those organisations.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Control Centre. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission.
You never need an account to browse recaps or use the Replay Deck. Creating an account (via Google or an email link) is optional and unlocks cross-device sync and features like League Zone. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure, and for activity that happens under your account. One account per person — don’t create accounts to impersonate someone else or evade a suspension.
League Zone lets you create a display name and a shared space visible to people you share a join code with. Don’t use it to impersonate another real person, harass anyone, post anything illegal, or post content you don’t have the right to share. We can remove content or suspend access for a League Zone (or an account) that breaks this.
Facts and statistics about real sporting events aren’t owned by anyone and aren’t claimed as Control Centre’s property. The recap videos, the site’s design, visualisations, the “Control Centre” name and branding, and the specific way this site presents that data are Control Centre’s own work. You’re welcome to watch, share links to, and embed our published YouTube videos under YouTube’s own terms; you don’t have a licence to re-host, redistribute, or resell them, or to scrape or systematically copy this site’s own content or underlying data presentation.
Official team logos and league marks are never used on this site — only publicly available team colours and factual data. Team radio audio, where referenced, is described or transcribed rather than played back, out of respect for broadcasters’ own rights in those recordings.
Recaps and live data are built from third-party public data sources that Control Centre doesn’t control. We work to make this data accurate and clearly mark anything derived or estimated as such, but we can’t guarantee the underlying source data is complete, current, or error-free, and we’re not responsible for it. Links to YouTube or other third-party sites are provided for convenience; we don’t control and aren’t responsible for their content.
Control Centre is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise the site or Replay Deck will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time — this is an independent project, run and maintained by one person.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Control Centre isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud) — and nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
We may update these terms or the site’s features as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
